KUBERNETESDEVELOPER TOOLS

Description

Moon is an enterprise Selenium WebDriver browser automation solution for Kubernetes delivering a reliable cluster with an automatically scaling number of running browsers. Every browser session is running in a separate container thus making test execution stable and predictable.

Out of the box you get ready support for popular browsers and platforms: Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Android. Running clusters can easily be reconfigured without interrupting running tests.

You can use Moon free for 0-4 concurrent sessions. For concurrent sessions beyond this range, you'll need a Moon license key, for this you can contact us directly: sales@aerokube.com

Software Included

Getting started after deploying Moon

In order to run Moon effectively in production, you'll need a minimum of 2 nodes with 4CPUs and 4GB of memory each

After you create a Moon Kubernetes One-Click - everything will be installed and running. Just point your Selenium tests to the following URL to start testing: http://Load_Balancer_IP:4444/wd/hub

You may also want to open Moon user interface in browser: http://Load_Balancer_IP:8080/

API Creation

In addition to creating Moon via the control panel, you can also use the DigitalOcean API.

As an example, to create a 3 node DigitalOcean Kubernetes cluster made up of Basic Droplets in the SFO2 region, you can use the following curl command. You’ll need to either save your API access token to an environment variable or substitute it into the command below.

  curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer '$TOKEN'" -d \
      '{"name": "choose-a-name","region": "sfo2","version": "1.17.5-do.0","node_pools": [{"size": "s-1vcpu-2gb","count": 3,"name": "choose-a-name"}]}' \
